Salof has awarded Liquid Cold a further major scope of work to facilitate an operations level process assurance review of their engineering group including their engineering design project delivery process, to ensure that group has the corporate software (policies, standards, systems, procedures and tools) and hardware (organization, resources & manpower, infrastructure) to deliver the clients on-going business goals.
The Strategic Review will address the specific challenges related to the engineering process to deliver liquefactions plants by Salof, and to align with Salof business goals and all affected cross-functional departments in particular (without limitation), Bidding/ Estimating/ Cost-Control, Accounting and Finance, QHSE, Project Management, Procurement, Warehousing and Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Commissioning, and New Product Development.
Liquid Cold has been awarded Phase 1 and 2 of a comprehensive scope that is planned to be completed in four (4) key phases. Phase 1 of the work will be delivered by Liquid Cold over a six (6) week period. The Liquid Cold Management Consultant will perform a gap analysis and appraisal of the existing organization, with the results to be endorsed by the Salof Executive Management team for development the next phase.
Upon the endorsement of Phase 1 results, Phase 2 will be delivered over the next fourteen (14) week period, during which the Project Delivery Process and Engineering Organization Chart will be documented and then enhanced to meet the Salof corporate business goals. The work will also included the development of Management-level policies, standards, systems, tools and procedures, and the enhancement of existing roles and responsibilities of key organizational positions. A competency-based skills matrix, training and succession plan, and roll-out strategy and plan are also for development during Phase 2.
Liquid Cold successfully completed Phases 1 and 2 in June 2013.
