Liquid Cold is in discussions to undertake a joint marketing study and feasibility assessment of natural gas as an engine fuel for natural gas vehicles (“NGVs”) for a major south-east Asian national petroleum operator.
The objective is to establish the viability of using domestic sources of natural gas to produce LNG as a fuel for NGVs within a targeted market area replacing higher cost diesel.
The potential delivery mechanisms for the target market covers LNG and L-CNG technology selection, Production, Storage & Logistics, Receiving, Storage & Dispensing (for CNG) or Regasification & Compression (for L-CNG), and includes NGV Conversions & Customer Support.
The feasibility study is performed together with an NGV market study, and includes the requirement to establish a phased implementation program based on forecast market demand growth. The study is scheduled to be completed by Q2 2016.
