Liquid Cold has materially progressed its joint study with an ASX Top 50 listed Petroleum Operator to assess a new domestic gas market.

Elvin Heng, Chief Operating Officer of Liquid Cold Australasia Pty Ltd has presented his poster titled “Critical success factors for the emerging LNG for Mining Power sector in Australia” at the 18th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG18, held in Perth, Western Australia on 11-15 April 2016.

Liquid Cold is actively supporting its major client, one of the largest worldwide oil and gas equipment and service suppliers, to secure a major multi-discipline engineering detailed design project for a barge mounted FLNG unit for a major North American mid-scale LNG export project.

The study results strongly suggest CNG/LNG solutions are commercially viable within the target study region, to seed and initiate discrete captive user groups with a view to later grow and extend these mobile natural gas network(s) to establish a viable domestic gas market.
